We have built this widget with Site Confidence to show heads of department that their website is live and performing well (or not, as the case may be).
It can be easily added to any intranet site, such as Sharepoint, or added to a gadget-based environment like your iGoogle homepage or a Mac desktop.
(The username is "widget", the password is "password" - and you can select any one of a number of fictitious web pages to monitor).
